Our Story

The Cawfee Connection

My love for coffee started early, like when I was 12. It has since blossomed into a bit of an obsession, especially in the past few years.

Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, our community was built around 'having coffee'. As a (somewhat) grown up, I discovered that this idea dovetailed with the arts community as well. I found exploring new coffees - 2nd, 3rd & now 4th wave - to be fascinating. I began learning all I could online, attending tasting sessions, studying origins, taking barista classes, and ventured into roasting. Coffee became an art form to me.

Coffee fueled my late night creative sprints, prepping for events and holiday sales while building my online art business. Meeting other local artists led to the realization that I wasn't alone in my late night/last minute bursts of creativity. Plenty of my new found friends shared my love for the magic beans.

I decided that merging my love of coffee & the art of coffee with the artist community was going to be my focus going forward. The idea for a coffee fueled creative space was born.

And here we are...with a little help (and a lot of patience) from my ridiculously supportive husband

SoulSpireCafé coffees are truly crafted with intention. A great deal of thought goes into sourcing, processing, roasting, & packaging our beans. The intention is to develop a community of creators & their patrons to come together, learn, & share ideas ~ a community with the intention to inspire.

As we work toward creating a physical space for gatherings, workshops, & events, we'll be promoting the work of local creators online, at pop-up events, & through local hosted workshops.

If that resonates with you, I invite you to explore our coffee, subscribe for updates, message me & introduce yourself, check out the Blog, or if you're a creator, join our online Artisan Gallery...it's free publicity for your business & you'll be invited to our Artisan events.

I hope you'll join us on this journey!
